Finish Stuffing
After you are done creating each of the pig’s body parts, you will want to finish stuffing each of the pieces that are still open. Make sure to add enough stuffing so that the pig is firm, but not hard.

Assembly & Finishing
Assembling Body Parts
Once each of the pieces has been stuffed, you will take a yarn needle and thread it onto the long yarn tail of each body part. Sew them securely into place on the pig.
Creating the Eye Indentation
I like to add a bit of an indentation where the eyes are set to give the pig’s face some character. To do this, you will take a piece of pink yarn and thread it onto the needle. Then right under each eye, catch the face.

Push the needle inside of the face, until you reach the other eye. Catch this side as well, then thread your needle back through the center, and out the same place where your yarn entered.
Tie a knot in the yarn loop, to pull it as tight as you want. Then slip the yarn knot and ends inside of the pig’s head to hide.
Hiding Strands of Yarn
Make sure to use your yarn needle or crochet hook to pull any yarn ends to the inside of the pig so that they are no longer visible.

Tips & Tricks
Crochet Hook Size
In the pattern details above, I have given you my recommendations on the crochet hook size, based on what I used. I used a 4.00 mm hook with a worsted-weight yarn. However, it is important to point out that you may want to increase or decrease the hook size you use, especially if your stitches are turning out too loose, or you use bigger yarn.
For example, if you use bigger yarn, you will likely want to use a slightly bigger hook. On the other hand, if you choose to use smaller yarn, such as baby velvet yarn, then you might want to slightly decrease the hook size you use. Just make sure that your stitches are nice and tight, without any unwanted holes in your crochet pig.
Avoid Too Much Stuffing
When you are stuffing your crochet pig with fiberfill stuffing, make sure that you add enough so that the pig is nicely stuffed, and firm, but not overstuffed. It is best when it is nice and squishy.
A Note On Safety Eyes
Remember if you are making this crochet pig for a baby or toddler, you will not want to use safety eyes. Unfortunately, safety eyes and buttons are choking hazards to little ones, so do not use them. However, you can use embroidery floss to sew facial features onto your crochet pig if you would like.
