Tips Before Beginning
The Crochet Hook Size
The exact size of your crochet hook that you use will depend on what yarn you are using to make these crochet baby socks and your natural stitching tension. If your stitches are larger than the suggested gauge above, you will want to decrease your hook size, so that the baby socks turn out the right size. I used a size G hook, but you may need to increase or decrease the hook depending on your stitching.
Working in Rounds
In this pattern, I highly recommend that you work it in rounds. Meaning that at the end of each round, you join the first and last stitches together with a slip stitch. Doing this will help you get the most accurate shape. However, you can work in continuous rounds, but be sure to use a stitch marker.
Sock Care
These crochet baby socks are going to have the best results when they are hand-washed in cold water. You may use some laundry detergent to help clean them if desired. Then hang them on the clothesline to dry.
