ch – chain

sl st – slip stitch

st/sts – stitch/stitches

sc – single crochet 

blo – back loop only 

flo – front loop only

How to Crochet Thermal Stitch

Row 1: in the foundation row you will want to make your desired number of chain stitches plus 1 for turning.

Row 2: now insert hook in the second chain from your hook in the foundation chain. Working in the blo of the chain, make a sc st. Sc in each st across to the end of the row.

Row 3: ch 1, turn, working in the back loop of the stitch in the current row and the back loop of the next stitch in the previous row, make a single crochet by inserting your hook in the two back loops, yarn over and pull up a loop through both rows, yarn over and pull through both remaining loops on the hook. Repeat these steps, making a single crochet stitch in each of the back loops of the current row and previous row across.

When you reach the end, repeat row 3 until your project is your desired size.

Finishing: to finish out, make the last row you crochet through both stitches instead of the one side, and the loop from the previous row. This will finish out your project nicely.
