Sunflower Coaster Crochet Pattern Tips and Tricks

The best yarn for sunflower coasters

When you are looking for the best yarn to use to make your sunflower coasters, the best action is going to be 100% cotton yarn. This way your crochet coasters can be exposed to hot beverages, and water without any adverse effects. When it comes to selecting your 100% cotton yarn, there are many different brands to choose from, so make sure to choose an option that you like the best.

Choosing your crochet hook size

The size of crochet hooks that you use will depend on what yarn you are using as well as your stitching tension and how you want your finished coasters to look. Typically a 5.0 mm crochet hook is going to be a good option for most cotton yarns. However, make sure to check your skin of yarn packaging to see what size crochet hook manufacturer recommends.
