Free Crochet Wreath Ornament Pattern
Materials
4.5 mm crochet hook
3 inch wooden ring
Green yarn
A little red yarn or ribbon
A yarn needle
Scissors
Abbreviations
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
ch – chain
How To Crochet Christmas Wreath Pattern
Make a slipknot, then single crochet around the wooden ring to join the yarn.
*Ch 3 sts, make a sl st in the 3rd ch from the hook, sc around the wooden ring
Ch 4 sts, make a sl st in the 4th ch from the hook, sc around the wooden ring*
Repeat from * to * around until the entire wooden ring is covered with evenly spaced stitches.
Join to the first sc st with a sl st. Finish off and weave in the green yarn.
Adding a Little Bow and Mini Bell
If you want, I like to add a little ribbon tied into a bow in the center of the race. To do this, Center the bow around two stitches, by threading the ribbon through the back of the stitches. Then tie the bow with a little mini bell in the center of the bow.
Finish off by adding a hanging loop on the back of the wreath, by adding a piece of yarn, twine, or ribbon in a large loop. This makes it easier to hang from your Christmas tree.
